Meet the Creators

Picture
Liza Fernandez, a New York City transplant by way of Canada, Australia and Chile, first met Felix Solis, a native Nuyorican, at the famed Goodman Theatre in Chicago while performing the Midwest premiere of Jose Rivera's Boleros for the Disenchanted in 2009.  They came together to create Subway Token Films and wrote their first short film, Tinto (official selection of the Tribeca Film Festival). Since then have written and developed three feature-length scripts, Sonia’s Song, Good Grief and Gentle Rain.

The pulse of this dynamic duo lies at the intersection between Liza's boundless energetic creativity and Felix's intuitive understanding of storytelling. A mutual respect and trust has propelled them into this artistic collaboration where exciting new stories are being born.
